We recently carried out a series of restoration works on St Mary’s church roof, a historic building that is cherished by the local community. The project included timber works and repairing tiles on various elevations of the roof, which had suffered from years of wear and tear due to exposure to the elements. We also replaced a lead gulley, and reinstating some of the tiling that had been damaged.
Additionally, we worked on and replaced some damaged timbers on the roof above the vestry to ensure the safety of the structure. Moreover, we carried out timber and tile repairs to the lychgate roof, which was also in need of attention. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure our work maintained the authenticity of the beautiful building.
It was a pleasure to work on this historic building and help to maintain the church for the future. They were thrilled with the results, and we hope to continue supporting them with their restoration projects in the future, as well as other local ecclesiastical buildings.
